The Fear Boxes
Put your hand in a box you can't see into. Your heart races before you even touch anything. Why?
Turn the sound on first. Every box creaks as it opens, and you’ll hear what comes out.
Startle warning. When a box opens, the room goes dark, and chance decides what comes out, every time. Sometimes lots of spiders crawl out across the whole screen, and then a real animal appears: a cockroach, a spider, a bat, a snake, a rat or a centipede. Sometimes it’s something silly, like slime or confetti, or nothing at all. Nothing flashes and nothing is gory.
Turn the sound, the motion and gentle mode on or off with the buttons at the top. Press Skip, or Esc, to turn the lights back on.
Take your own pulse
Find your pulse on your wrist or neck, then tap the heart with each beat. Take it before you open a box.
